The problem with just counting calories when losing weight.

It’s a simple solution of just reducing your calorie intake right?! Absolutely, eat less calories then what your body requires and your weight will drop!

With that being said, most of you have likely experienced, that it’s not so simple. Either your weight loss has plateaued or your not losing any weight at all.

By calorie counting, you get a better understanding of portion sized eating. However, calorie counting doesn’t ensure you that you’re getting the appropriate amount of macronutrients for your body to function properly or to reach your goals. By not consuming the proper macronutrients it can have a hindering affect on your appetite, hormones, energy levels, and how your body absorbs nutrients. Making it HARDER TO ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS!
